Don't underestimate the power of your social network. Most people have a Facebook page. You didn't have to quit your job to build your Facebook page. You simply added your existing family and friends as Facebook friends and you continue to add to your friends list as you meet other people or become reacquainted with old friends. A lot of business today is done through referrals within social networks like yours, and the reason is clear. When a friend or co-worker recommends a YouTube video, a movie, a website, a product we tend to trust that referral more than we trust any other form or advertising.
